The internship is a period of training and orientation for students and trainees, regulated by national legislation, to be carried out in companies and public institutions. The internship in a company becomes an important first experience of work for those who are close to conclude their studies. It allows to obtain the university credits (CFU) that are required in the plan of study of the careers, to develop projects related to the thesis, to get familiarize with the business realities and, at the same time, to gain experience in a particular professional activity.

DISI, through the website Job Guidance, offers support and guidance to its students for carrier choices and a successful transition to the work market. The site features a “virtual space” aimed to involve both students and companies, along with its several professionals that operate in various fields.

ICT Days

During the ICT Days there is a specific session dedicated to placement, in other words a time dedicated to the meeting between companies and university students.  For the companies it is an opportunity to find human capital with adequate training and for the university students it offers the opportunity to find an internship or work, starting with the most important moment: the interview.

The ICT Days hosts leading companies including IBM, Amazon and Engineering; as well as many local companies and businesses that have found great interest in the event. The event also offers exhibitions, demos, competitions and workshops as well as spaces reserved for start-ups and their training.
