ICT Days @ DISI

The ICT Days is an event dedicated to the wide subject of Information and Communication Technology, with particular focus in the business world, its evolution and the new challenges being faced in ICT area.

The ICT Days program includes numerous events dedicated to students as well as initiatives directed to a broad audience interested in new technologies.

As in past years ICT Days will host the PhD Poster Competition, a moment for introducing the research projects from over 200 PhD students in the ICT area to the business world. The program also includes a Hackathon, an American-type event in which various work teams compete in a software programming marathon. The Hackathon is an innovative experience located within a structured context in which the students are required to create, test and validate their projects. Thematic seminars, meetings about science and research, orientation for high school students (in collaboration with PorteAPERTE) complete the panorama of the events.

The ICT Days also includes the Career Day, a full day with the objective of bringing closer students with bussinesses and the current work environment. Job Guidance, a service provided by the University, promotes structured interviews with companies for the recruitment of students and graduates. Contact: jobguidance [at] unitn.it.
