DISI Degrees reaffirm top position in the 2026/2027 Censis Ranking
DISI – Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science once again confirms its national leadership in teaching among state universities, securing top spots in the new 2026–2027 Censis Ranking of Italian Universities.
⏩Computer Science and ICT Sector
- Master's Degrees: In this sector, offered exclusively by our Department, the University of Trento takes first place for the fourth consecutive year with a score of 108/110, ahead of Bologna and Padua. The score improved compared to last year and reached the maximum for international relations.
- Bachelor's Degrees: Third place overall with a score of 100.5/110. An excellent result that confirms Trento’s constant presence on the podium and a high teaching standard right from the first study cycle.
⏩Industrial and Information Engineering Sector
- Master's Degrees: In this sector, which includes Artificial Intelligence Systems and Information Engineering, UniTrento achieves second place in Italy with a score of 103/110, earning first place for international relations.
- Bachelor's Degrees: In this sector, which includes Computer, Communications, and Electronic Engineering, the University ranks among the top in Italy with an impressive sixth place.
The evaluation of the ranking results is based on the analysis of two main macro-indicators: "students' career progression" and "internationalization," evaluated through specific criteria such as enrollment and graduation regularity rates, outgoing mobility, and international student enrollments.

"These are not just numbers, but clear evidence of our Department’s constant and passionate commitment over the years to ensuring our students receive the highest quality services, innovative laboratories, and top-tier teaching."
