DISI and Tongji University Partner to Boost International Mobility and Double Degrees

Last July, we had the pleasure of hosting at our DISI - Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science a delegation of students and faculty members from Tongji University (China) during their trip to Italy. 

During their visit, the students explored some of our top-level teaching laboratories and had the opportunity to present their own research projects.
The visit was organized by prof. Chiara Di Francescomarino, DISI Delegate for Internationalization.

This event falls within a broader framework agreement recently approved at the University of Trento between DISI and the School of Computer Science and Technology at Tongji University, which sets the foundation to offer a Double Degree Program and strengthen collaboration and the exchange of scholars and professors between both departments.

In particular, under this agreement, Chinese students will attend the English-taught Bachelor’s Degree courses in Computer Science and earn a degree from the University of Trento as well.

This agreement creates a powerful synergy between our institutions, opening new pathways for global talent and academic exchange. By fostering seamless international mobility, it allows students and researchers from both sides to share perspectives, accelerate innovation, and build a truly interconnected community.
