The Director of the Department

The Director is elected by the Department Council from among the full professors, remains in office for three years and may be consecutively re-elected once. The Director and the Department Council appoint delegates to be able to perform their duties to the best of their abilities.

Prof. Luigi Palopoli
  • represents and manages the Department;
  • coordinates the teaching and scientific policies of the Department and works for their implementation;
  • chairs the Department Council and is responsible for the implementation of its decisions;
  • performs the functions assigned to him by the Department Regulations and the University Charter.
